a monthly pro-social school program
SEPTEMBER – MAY
Level Up is our school year program that’s all about leveling up as a leader and as an individual. Level Up connects participants with mentors, resources, tools, and workshops that help them achieve their goals and freedom dreams. Each event offers academic support, dinner, and a pro-social activity. Each event includes a discussion on a specific leadership skill participants can practice in their everyday lives. Activities include guest speakers, mentor nights, trips to local sporting events, movie nights, as well as an annual ski trip to Mt. Hood in the spring. Level Up offers a monthly pro-social event, open to all young Black men in the community including current Word is Bond ambassadors and participants who are not in Word is Bond. Each event offers academic support, dinner, and a pro-social activity. Each event includes a discussion on a specific leadership skill participants can practice in their everyday lives.
