We Are Back Home – Art Exhibition

In the spirit of Sankofa – to return to the past and retrieve what is needed for the future.
We Are Back Home is the debut exhibition by Word Is Bond, in partnership with Art in Oregon.
Following six young Black men from Portland as they return to Ghana, the exhibit explores ancestry, identity, leadership, and belonging through photography by Jason Hill.
Proceeds support the 2026 Black Star
Homecoming Expedition.
